Our story
A Shop That Runs Like Family
Motor Tech Auto Repair is an Oakland shop built on referrals. Customers come in through a friend, a tow truck driver, or a coworker, and they stay for years because James and his team tell them the truth about what a car actually needs.
We work on everything from daily commuters to company fleets, and we take on the jobs other shops walk away from. When a customer's engine needed more than a diagnosis, we went beyond the estimate to fix it and save the car instead of sending it to salvage.
Whether it is a Honda that a dealership gave up on or a new Tesla that needs careful hands, we treat every vehicle, and every customer, like they matter.
- Trusted fleet mechanic for local businesses
- Family-run shop, treats customers like family
- Takes on repairs other shops won't
- Works on domestic, import, and EV vehicles
